North Carolina 2023 – Muslim Camporee

Registration is Closed.

We are delighted to announce that we have successfully maintained the early bird pricing for our camp at $70.

Can I send my 4-year-old daughter to camp alone? No. Children are not allow to attend the camp alone. They must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Can my grandmother go? Yes, all family members are welcome to join the camp.
Can I bring my baby? Yes, you can bring your baby along with all necessary supplies, including diapers.
Will there be tents? Yes, there will be tents available. We provide open-style A-Frame canvas wall tents, each equipped with 2 camp cots as seen on the right.
Will there be sleeping bags? No, you will need to provide your own sleeping bags. If you don’t have one already, we recommend you take a look at the Scout Life article, “How to Buy the Best Sleeping Bag“.
Can I bring my own tent? Yes, you are welcome to bring your own tent if you prefer.
Do I need to bring food? No, meals at the camp are inclusive. Snacks, sodas and ice creams are sold at the trading post, which accepts cash only. Remember to follow the “Leave no trace” outdoor code and keep everything clean. Keeping food, snacks in your tent will invite “critters”. If you plan to have any food/drinks in your camping area, keep them secured and clean to keep those critters away.

Note that we will be sending out a few more emails in the near future.

An email with the camp guide document. This document will include a directions, map of Camp Durant, a packing list, the schedule, health and safety bulletin and more.
A reminder email will be sent out before the close of registration on 8/10/2023.
There will also be an email requesting feedback after the camp weekend to ask you what we can improve on for the next camp.
